"5g of added sugars" but sugar isn't an ingredient, what's up? The added sugar comes from the starch of the oats. The digestive enzymes break down the starch into simple sugars. We're required by the FDA to include it as an added sugar because it is being created through hydrolysis (enzymes that break down starch).
Differences between Vanilla and Original Oat Malk? Vanilla extract and Original Oat has a higher percentage of oats which equates to the higher calories, sugar and nutrition.
